CSC was recently recognized as a 2008 Training Hall of Fame winner by TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) Coalition. More than 20 CSC regional and branch managers are certified TEAM trainers who train and certify many of their own employees as well as the employees of some of their clients. In the past 12 months, nearly 33,000 sports and entertainment facility employees became certified through TEAM’s alcohol management training program, and a significant portion of those were CSC employees. The TEAM training program provides education in understanding the warning signs of intoxication and the factors that affect how alcohol is absorbed, blood alcohol content in relation to serving sizes, intervention techniques for all job functions, serving guidelines, and reasonable efforts that facilities can undertake in order to ensure that guests have a safe experience.

TEAM Coalition congratulates CSC for its commitment to positive fan behavior, responsible alcohol consumption, and the prevention of drunk driving. In receiving its Hall of Fame award, CSC joins sports teams and facilities from MLB, MLS, the NBA, the NFL and the NHL, as well as service providers ARAMARK and Delaware North Sportservice.
