Brief Course DescriptionContemporary Services, the largest national event management company, provides event staff, security, ushers and ticket takers for events in the entertainment and sporting industries. CSC offers a Management Trainee Program at its South Florida Branch in Miami, Florida. The CSC Management Trainee Program is an ongoing program with continuous entry and exit dates. The program offers a diverse education, with each area playing a very significant part in the development and growth of trainees. The goal is to educate and train candidates in all aspects of event management for promotion to CSC management positions throughout the country. Training and development opportunities include interaction with the CSC-South Florida clients and facilities, including the Miami Dolphins, the Florida Marlins, the Miami Heat, NCAA FAU, FIU, the University of Miami Football, the Orange Bowl Stadium, Dolphin Stadium, the American Airlines Arena, and the Sound Advice Amphitheater.
QualificationsQualifications for these positions may include: prior supervisory, management and/or human resource experience, organizational skills, the ability to handle simultaneous tasks and demands, and a familiarity with the sport and entertainment industry. Additional consideration may be given to a candidate with a background in any of the following fields: teaching, coaching, athletics or the military.
